News + Reviews Germany: Tokyopop

on 24/06/2010 was Jo Kaps, publishing director of Tokyopop again in a chat round the readers to answer questions. As the new round of chat was organized shortly after the live chat in April, it was this time more questions on specific problems, for clues as to programming.

These were of course Boys Love some questions are asked, the answer has Jo Kaps. In particular, the "Finder" problem was ebantwortet again-unfortunately there was still no satisfactory answer. Here is a summary of the chats and their findings:

first Release Date Finder
Talks between Libre and Tokyopop are still ongoing, so no release date for band 5 and the artbook can be given. Currently, the Japanese publisher is doing a little heavy, so that Tokyopop generally can only wait for the answers.

second other manga by Rie Honjoh
As the talks on "Finder" take as long to be currently licensed and no tracks from Rie Honjoh, as the rights are also at Libre. Tokyopop would appear to be interested, but will first clarify the situation with Finder ...

third have decrease the Boys Love Manga licensing
As Carlen and EMA reinforced licensed Boys Love series, has decided Toykopop in this segment back down a little. This is due to the decline in sales due to oversupply. If the set has improved a little, they are not averse to new series.
