Our impression of Luang Prabang has changed during the stay. Oversleeping is definitely the wrong word - the whole place is swarming with tourists, the locals are at least equal to the balance in. In the Old City (peninsula between the Mekong River and side), there are really only Guesthaeuser, temples, souvenir shops, and restaurants Travelagencies. Nevertheless, the place has a pretty easy comfortable atmosphere and it pays really out there wandering around a bit. We have a total of two temples visited one of which is really nice (the religiously important in Laos) and other well-located (hill in the middle of town) was. Despite all the temples, the main attraction of Luang Prabang is the night market. A short excerpt from our personal menu: Spicy Reisbaellchen, pasta with sharp out of the plastic bags, mango cakes, fruit shakes, Vietnamese spring rolls, fried indefinable Gatsch in all versions, Bueffelspiess, funny stuff with fried meat (Waehh) or allegedly Vegetable (ok) inside and spicy noodle soup for Selberpimpen. All in all, Luang Prabang was until now our culinary highlight. What we have otherwise bought even at the night market, with zealous actions are first when coming back:).

On 7 at 8:30 we take the bus back in the direction of Plain of Jars. This time the driver has a real Asian bubble and possessed of nothing "PIPI held !!!"- breaks.
